well hello everyone.. after some thought, i realized that i've created a middle world for myself, that is neither jw, nor included in the other 99% of the population.
in fact, living here in jwn is like a cong sometimes.
the rumours, the gossip, the clicks, it's all here, if that's what u want.. what's happened to me is that i'm almost in a jw state of mind with the small group mentality.

i was rasied a jw, and today was my first official time gambling.
i placed a bet on the horses and won $15 dollars.. i also completed an application to get my gun license, and joined a local gun club.. i'm also thinking of joining the local martial arts lessons with my son.. three things i've always wanted to try, but not allowed as a jw..

we are always urged to "make sure of all things", namely, that anything we preach or teach is verifiable and true.
especially when we are referring to the bible.. at our convention, two things which came from the platform made me cringe, especially as one of the statements came from a regular and experienced convention speaker.
first; "over a quarter of a million new brothers and sisters were baptized last year - doesn't this show love on jehovah's part that he is allowing time for such ones to get to know him".
Why should they stop it when all the little birdie witlesses gobble it up like birdseed on an iceberg.
They know exactly what they're doing, they just hope they have you conned enough not to notice.

aug 1, 2012 public copy wt, pages 24-25 feature a make-belief boy named, caleb, who writes a letter to his sick friend.. i recall in the introduction of the video (that is being released at this year's convention) it is said that this vid is just a sampling of what they have been working on.. seeing this 'caleb' character in the magazine made me wonder if the wt is trying to produce a mascot for children of jws.

No, he’s just the “perfect” little example all the poor witless children will be forced to try and live up to, but can't.
This way the parents and congregation can look down their noses and say, "you're nothing like good little Caleb."

it`s a well known fact that liars sooner or later get caught up in their own deceit .initially you can get away with a few white lies,but if you keep on with these lies it`s very hard to keep track of them and you start to contradict yourself , and eventually you get caught out .jehovah`s witnesses have got away with it for a very long time,however with the advent of the internet it is very easy to find out what was published beforehand , and the watchtower society being a proficient publishing organization, their is much we can draw on.. by their own words they condemn themselves.

This falls under the rule of, you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all the people all the time.
Sooner or later their deceit will catch up to them when they can no longer find anyone to fool.
Unfortunately I think it will be later rather than sooner.
